Climate
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab has a yearly average temperature of 20°C (68°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 16°C (60°F). Wæm Chyǐkh Vab receives an average of 70 cm/y (27 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Wæm Chyǐkh Vab covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5376 m (17637 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1165, by Mlelë Fyesh. The establishment of Wæm Chyǐkh Vab was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Wæm Chyǐkh Vab's construction back out of the project. Mlelë Fyesh pushed on reguardles, and Wæm Chyǐkh Vab was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Chyǐkh Vab is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of premissive cobblestone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The somewhat suffishent has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.
A look around Wæm Chyǐkh Vab gives you a feeling of distrust and paranoia. Also greed. The locals seem to be very much into scholastic pursuits, based on the hushed, murmured conversations you hear at least. Everyone in Wæm Chyǐkh Vab acts like they have discovered something wondrous, and are worried they will endure some horrible fate so another can take what they’ve discovered for themselves.
Civic Infrastructure

Wæm Chyǐkh Vab has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Wæm Chyǐkh Vab's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Wæm Chyǐkh Vab's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.
Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is skipped in Wæm Chyǐkh Vab.
The Hellfire Ignis near Wæm Chyǐkh Vab are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Wæm Chyǐkh Vab's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves gestures to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 2 via speaking in tongues.
